Sanera Maharaj is an Industrial Engineer and award-winning Operations leader. Her notable achievements include: The Mail and Guardian 200 Young South Africans 2022, a finalist in the TransUnion Rising Star Awards 2023, and TechWomen 2023 - a US Exchange program, where she spent 5 weeks in Silicon Valley. Sanera is deeply committed to her community initiatives, Science2Go and SuperScientists. She serves as Ambassador for the Next Einstein Forum, promoting STEM education to empower African youth. Recently representing Africa at the 2024 UN World Data Forum, she advocates for youth development and education which she believes is the foundation for prosperity.
